Wedathon for the Children is a special event and fundraiser, providing complete wedding packages to valid Georgia wedding license holders, while raising money for the Atlanta Children's Shelter.  Originally entitled, "40-40-40 for the Children", the Wedathon for the Children is in it's third year.

This special event is open to any and all couples who would like to get married.  You will experience what we call a "Super Wedding" - a FULL wedding ceremony officiated by an approved and experienced Georgia wedding officiate.  This is NOT a Justice of the Peace wedding.  Your ceremony will have you walking down the aisle while your husband - to - be, groomsman, and  bridesmaids adoringly look on, should you choose to have them.  You can even invite up to 100 guests to be there for your special day.

After you and your spouse make the arm-in-arm exit from your official ceremony,  you wil take wedding photos, then make your grand entrance to your own personalized reception.  It is here where you two will enjoy many exciting wedding traditions, like the 1st dance, cutting of your own wedding cake, wedding toasts, and yes, tossing your bouquet!  Whether you have 100 guests, or it's just the two of you, we guarantee your wedding experience will be one to cherish forever.

The amazing part of this is - both your wedding and reception will both take place in JUST ONE HOUR.  The first wedding will begin at 8:00AM Saturday morning, the 2nd wedding will begin at 9:00AM, the 3rd at 10:00AM and so on, all day Saturday, through Saturday night and all day and night Sunday.  You will share the same experience brides and grooms recieve, that pay thousands of dollars for their weddings.  Your cost?  Just $80 per bride and $80 per groom.

This will be a one-of-a-kind event!  We are looking for couples who would like to take advantage of this unique opportunity.  As one of our wedding couples, you will become an ambassador for the cause of the Atlanta Children's Shelter, as your dollars will help raise operating and program funds for this much needed program.  We are also asking that all participants and guests kindly make a monetary donation or bring  new or "Gently used" household items that will be presented to a family in need of a special Christmas or Holiday.
